This 11lb Counterweight Accessory is designed for CGEM series computerized telescopes.

Accessories such as cameras, dew caps, tele-extenders or 2″ star diagonals affect the balance of your telescope. Counterweights compensate for this imbalance, improving ease of operation and tracking.

You don’t need perfect balance to operate your telescope. In fact, it’s not always possible to achieve perfect balance with fixed-position weights.
