Omegon 2″ Amici Prism – for brilliant nature-watching using an astronomical telescope

Why should you only be able to observe astronomical objects with your telescope? With the help of an Amici prism, you can make full use of the possibilities of your telescope to observe the beauty of nature. An astronomical telescope shows objects upside down, but nature-watching requires an upright image.

Better the right way up

The Omegon 2″ Amici prism provides an upright, non-reversed image similar to a pair of binoculars, with a 45° angle for optimal viewing and comfortable posture – for use on a refractor, Schmidt-Cassegrain or Maksutov telescope.

Which eyepieces will fit?

It is suitable for all the astronomical eyepieces from our range! You will find a 2″ socket and a reducer for using 1.25″ eyepieces on the eyepiece side of the prism. The built-in 2″ socket lets you to use it on a large range of telescopes – just plug in the prism and you’re ready to go.

The Omegon Amici prism provides you with a clear and sharp image. The large prisms have been provided with a green multi-coating – you not only get a reflection-free image but also maximum contrast. The CNC machined housing is also high-quality and guarantees long years of enjoyment.
