Product description
The diameter statedin the product title and the technical specification refer to the minor axis of the elliptical mirror.
The secondary mirror is meant for building and improving of reflector telescopes according to Newton. The mirror is provided with an aluminum coating with 91% reflectivity. This is protected from aging and scratches from cleaning by a quartz layer.
The secondary mirror is ready for installation into the telescope tube. It is bonded to an aluminum holder with a female M6 thread in the middle.
The secondary mirror is optimized for the offset of f/4 Newtonians, but it can be used from f/4 to f/5.
